October 11, 2010 — CEA TechHome Mediterraneo, a collaboration between the experts who helped build the U.S. home technology market and the world-leading Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), has launched its brand new website dedicated to helping home technology integrators grow their businesses.

The site, www.cea-thm.com, features profiles of home technology integrators, business how-to's, white papers, research reports and more. Available in Italian and English, the site focuses on growing the community of integrators beginning in Italy.

"CEA TechHome Mediterraneo (THM) is what Southern European integrators have been asking for: information on how to grow their businesses, select better products and news from the United States," says Leonardo Norsa, executive director, THM.

"The new site gives the community a place to come and learn from their peers, manufacturer partners and business experts."

Italian integrators who join the online community — which is absolutely free to do — receive access to content like the Mediterraneo Country Guide: Italy and Best Practices from the CE Pro 100 report. These downloadable PDF guides provide industry-specific information not available elsewhere.

"The Italian home technology market is on the same growth pattern as the United States was, and the community-building resources of THM will help our industry succeed and prosper," says Bruno Marchionni, an integrator based outside of Rome and member of the THM Advisory Board.

Content on the site will be published three times per week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Launching in conjunction with the site is the CEA TechHome Mediterraneo Newsletter, a bi-monthly email newsletter highlighting the latest content from the website.

The new THM website comes after the launch of the CEA TechHome Mediterraneo Directory this summer, featuring listings of home technology integrators in Italy, France and Spain.
