“We’ve spent the past year researching, connecting and working with Italian integrators and installers to grow this community, and we’ve developed a list of companies who are shaping the industry,” says Leonardo Norsa, Executive Director of CEA THM.
The Italian home technology industry has shown very similar signs to the American custom electronics industry, with a number of companies doing work but in need of a unifying force to bring them all together.
“We’re excited that CEA has invested in Italy with the TechHome Mediterraneo program,” says Marco Simonetto of SimonTech, a Como-based integrator and member of the CEA THM 50. “I’m extremely excited to meet with the companies who believe in our industry at the CEA THM Summit this fall.”
CEA TechHome Mediterraneo held its first event in Milan in November 2010 with a luncheon and roundtable discussion featuring results from exclusive market research studies, a case study of an American integrator and the sharing of best practices.
The CEA TechHome Mediterraneo Summit will take place October 3-5, 2011 at the Regina Palace Hotel in Stresa, Italy, co-located with the CEA CEO Summit. The CEA THM Summit will connect Italy’s top home technology integrators and installers with leading vendor sponsors.
