The CEA THM Summit is Happening Now
The top integrators and installers in the country have gathered in Stresa for three days of networking and finding new business opportunities.
The CEA TechHome Mediterraneo Summit starts today at the Regina Palace Hotel in Stresa, Lago Maggiore.
Members of the CEA THM 50 – the top home tech integrators and installers in the country – are gathered for three days of networking, best practice sharing and opportunities to find new business opportunities with leading vendor sponsors.
"We've been planning this event for more than a year, and it's finally here," says Leonardo Norsa, Executive Director of CEA THM. "The guests are excited, the manufacturers and distributors are excited, and we're ready for a full schedule of amazing opportunities."
The event kicks off tonight with an outing to Villa Rusconi Clerici, a beautifully preserved late 19th century house situated on the shore of Lake Maggiore. The THM 50 will interact with members of the CEA, who are finishing up their CEO Summit at the neighboring Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees.
Tuesday morning, Gary Shapiro, CEO of CEA, will deliver the keynote address at the CEA THM Summit, presenting highlights from a new CEA research study on the Italian custom installation market, proposing strategies for the growth and development of the market and industry and preview exciting new technology trends in consumer electronics that integrators can capitalize on worldwide.
Guests will then proceed to boardroom presentations, where they will meet with manufacturers and distributors to find new business opportunities and learn about new products.
Tuesday's lunch presentation, sponsored by ADEO Group/Control4, will feature American integrator George De Marco discussing "The Arrival of Mass Installed Home Automation," including business models powering this new trend.
On Tuesday afternoon, guests will meet for Best Practices Roundtable discussions, where they will share techniques they are using in their businesses to grow sales; design, install and service high quality, profitable systems; and to manage their businesses for excellence and superb financial results.
Tuesday evening's reception, Dinner by Design, will feature a presentation about the growing yacht integration industry, and opportunities available for home tech integrators to install technology on marine vehicles.
Wednesday morning kicks off with a presentation, sponsored by Lutron, called "Opportunities in Energy Management and Information." Roberto Gamba of Lutron and a panel of integrators will discuss the technology and business opportunities available with energy management products and installation.
After the breakfast, guests will head to the Showcase Meeting Space for browsing and one-on-one appointments with manufacturers and distributors. They'll find out how new business opportunities apply directly to their company, and find new partners to work with.
The Summit Finale, scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, will take a look at the Home Tech industry in 2020. Leonardo Norsa and the CEA THM advisors will discuss the current state of the market and make predictions for the market in major product categories.
It's a full event, with non-stop opportunities for business growth.
Stay tuned and you'll get recaps from the major events at the Summit!
